Jesse Shuman is an editor and writer living in Park Slope, Brooklyn. He is currently a senior editor at Flatiron Books, where he acquires commercial and upmarket fiction for a curated list. Previously, he was an editor at Ballantine Books, where he edited numerous New York Times and nationally bestselling novels. His industry insight has appeared in the Wall Street Journal Magazine, The Atlantic, and Publishers Weekly. He studied creative writing at Johns Hopkins and won the Stephen Dixon Award for Fiction.
